New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 149cm

Posted on Sunday 28th December 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Nozawa.

What a fine day yesterday was!

There were lots of people - and at least one bright green vegetable - around to enjoy all that fresh snow, too.

Marvellous.

After some early morning snow, it is cloudy still around the mountain but there is blue sky away from the mountain. It might turn out to be a fine and clear day.

Tomorrow is set to be sunny too.

And then we have more snow lined up from around Wednesday.

Feeling good.
