Greetings on this snowy Nozawa Onsen morning.


A good 30cm of it around base areas with 50cm of fresh snow being reported by the ski area this morning. Very nice.


It is going to remain colder today and more snow is expected though tomorrow and perhaps even into Sunday.


More big numbers ahead!


Visibility might be limited, especially on the upper areas of the mountain, but snow conditions should be really great. If you are here and heading out, take care out there (know where you are going) and enjoy.


Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon (reported by the ski area):

Yamabiko: 50cm

Uenotaira: 50cm

Hikage: 30cm

Nagasaka: 30cm

Karasawa: 20cm

Yamabiko: 210cm

Uenotaira: 180cm

Hikage: 135cm

Nagasaka: 135cm

Karasawa: 100cm
