New snow to report this morning from Nozawa.

It started as rain yesterday but was snowing later on and this morning the resort is reporting up to 10cm of snowfall on the upper slopes with just a few cm down on lower slopes and village areas.

There's quite a bit of cloud around still but also some blue sky as well and the sun shining down on areas of the mountain. It feels like it will continue to clear up especially with surrounding areas now boasting clear blue skies.

More clear and sunny conditions forecast for tomorrow along with warmer temps. Rain is currently on the forecast for Thursday.

Today should keep fairly chilly before we get back to warmer conditions from tomorrow.
