Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 6cm

There is some snow on the ground this morning - even down to base. The resort is reporting 15cm on the top areas.
The overnight snowfall has eased off for the moment and it is just cloudy now but expect more to come in soon.
I will continue to report the season as it is, but I'm sorry if I have less words for you just at the moment. Everything just seems so... odd.
Fresh snowfall recorded by resort since yesterday:
- Yamabiko (1407m): 15cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 15cm
- Hikage (660m): -cm
- Nagasaka (615m): -cm
- Karasawa (563m): -cm
