New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 450cm

Posted on Thursday 24th March 2016 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Hello from Nozawa and there's a bit more snow to report again this morning - the resort reporting 6-8cm on the top areas and a few cm down here as well.

Great to hear (and later see!) some fresh snow up there, even better that there's some falling down here at base even if many of the lower runs here are now closed.

And there might be some more to be had from these here snow clouds as the chance of snow is forecast through until tomorrow.

After tomorrow expect more sunshine over the weekend and then things starting to warm up again early week.

From today the Nagasaka Gondola connecting pair lift will be closed.
