New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 100cm

After the great haul yesterday, just another slight topup to report this morning with 3cm being reported across the mountain. Add a few more for what we got since the report yesterday and you'll get an idea of the new layer out there.
For those of you who like the famous Schneider Course at Nozawa... well, it's open now. Let's mogul
Great out there yesterday. It was fabulous to re-acquaint with Skyline. Personally I prefer that run in particular mid-week so that a good head of speed can be built up. Not quite as easy on a busy weekend!
Resort news! On 31st December, there'll be a special long nighta and some events going on at the resort - specificially on the Nagasaka course area. Nighta will be open until 11:30pm. There'll be fireworks. There'll be sake. There'll be hot wine, apparently. The latter ones from 11pm until midnight. The fireworks just as we get into the New Year. Should be fun and no doubt the parties will continue elsewhere after that. Remember though - don't slide drunk!
Looks like it is going to be a sunny Christmas day. Next decent snowfall due later Thursday.
