It is a beautiful start to the day here in Nozawa Onsen. It snowed for most of the day yesterday and eased into the night, and then we woke up to blue skies and fresh snow on the courses this morning.

Yesterday was an amazing day and with the fresh foot of snow there was some great riding to be had on and off piste. There were some big powder stories around the fireplace last night.

Top to bottom on the Forest trail today and the resort plans to open everything from this weekend. After a bit of sunshine there is another rather large dump looming for Sunday night so prepare yourselves for a very White Christmas in Nozawa Onsen.
