Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 13cm
Snowfall at base this season 392cm

Posted on Tuesday 14th January 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Yesterday started with snowfall and ended with some nice bright skies and sun.

Mostly cloudy skies above us early this morning, and we can probably expect a day of cloud... and possibly some more blue sky and sun. I can already see a few breaks in the cloud.

After the long weekend we are back to a normal weekday today.

There's some good snowfall incoming, possibly starting in time for my next report and then during the day tomorrow.
