More of Nozawa is open from this morning including the self-named 'Best beginners course in the world!' that is Uenotaira. A bold claim for sure, but it certainly a fine place for beginners.
Looks like some more courses are going to be open this morning according the official website (as noted below), but they haven't given specific mention to them in their news yesterday.
Just 5cm or so of snow across the mountain overnight but it is snowing and hopefully the start of this heavy snowfall we were promised. We expect!
