New snowfall at base 3cm

Good morning from Nozawa.
It may be 10th April but it is snowing and the lower slopes of Nozawa Onsen once again are looking white.
The resort is reporting 8cm on the upper slopes. I just went out and measured 3cm and it is actually coming down in an almost winter-like fashion right now.
The forecast tells us that it should ease off fairly quickly this morning with sunshine expected over the weekend.
Nozawa Onsen remains open despite the coronavirus situation (and some other high profile season-ending resort closings because of it). No doubt we all have our own opinions on that, but I will of course continue to post until the ski area closes.
Fresh snowfall recorded by resort since yesterday:
- Yamabiko (1615m): 8cm
- Uenotaira (1406m): 8cm
- Lower areas are not reporting any more
Official snow depth numbers (reported by resort):
- Yamabiko (1615m): 175cm
- Uenotaira (1406m): 90cm

The following lifts are operating over the weekend:
- Nagasaka gondola [8:10am until 3:00pm; last one down 3:40pm]
- Yamabiko quad [8:30am until 3:20pm]
- Yamabiko Number 2 quad [8:25am until 3:30pm]
- Uenotaira quad [8:30am until 3:30pm]
- Paradise quad [8:30am until 3:20pm

- Kogenashi A
