Snowfall at base this season 951cm

Posted on Tuesday 9th February 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

Good morning to you from Niseko.

Well, it's snowing. It doesn't seem to want to quit!

I have just measured an additional 26cm for my report today. It's cold, the snow is lovely. Fresh, light, and lots of it. As always, probably more higher up.

Visibility is not great but conditions should be excellent out there.

Light to moderate snow forecast through today and maybe tomorrow too, and then from Thursday clearer skies look likely. That clearer spell is set to last until around the beginning of next week.
