New snowfall at base 15cm
Snowfall at base this season 167cm

Posted on Saturday 7th December 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

A fine day was had yesterday. Oh yes.

And to begin the weekend in style, I bring you news of another 15cm of fresh snow.

Also for the weekend more of the mountain will be open. There's more lifts and courses open at Niseko Grand Hirafu (* some for exterts only), Annupuri have their Jumbo Number 1 quad moving and... oh, so much information to take in. See below for the latest information that I can confirm as of 8:30am.

Today the Niseko HANAZONO area also joins the party and they plan to have all three of their quads spinning.

Bottom line: fresh snow, more lifts, more courses.

It should be a very good Saturday... still not 'peak season busy' of course too, so a very good time to get out there and sample the delights on offer.
