Good morning from Niseko.

There is enough snow for me to record 1cm this morning, though as you can see from the images below from just before 7am, it really depends on where you are.

Lower Annupuri and Hirafu have a speckled look while there has not been any down to base at Hanazono.

It might get a bit warmer again before the cold that is forecast for the weekend. Some forecasts tease us by showing us the chance of a first proper layer of snow over a few days starting on Saturday.
