Good morning from Niseko.
It's a cloudy kind of morning with some rain expected later on - would be nice if it could hold off during the day.
We might also need to contend with windy (southerly) conditions, but the ski areas appear to be planning on opening as normal.
Higher webcams show some limited visibility.
It is always a bit sad to see 'dirty snow' (see the Hanazono image below). I like to try and think of it as some chocolate sprinklings on top of a lovely cup of coffee. Not as yummy, probably.
Anyway, time for my morning toast.
