Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 85cm

Posted on Sunday 28th November 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

Yesterday later on in the day it was noticeably less cold and that rise in temperatures resulted in some rain down at base.

Nevertheless, I have another 5cm of snow to report since my last report. That makes it 85cm so far this season and it is still November. I like the sound of that.

There is some blue sky around this morning and the sun is out. Over the next few days we should expect temperatures to rise further and the next snow to be with us perhaps around Thursday.
