Snowfall at base this season 96cm

Good morning from Niseko.
We're back into double figures of fresh snowfall this morning (how we like it), and I have just measured 15cm.
As I write this, the sun has appeared in places, but it has generally just been cloudy, with light snow still falling in some areas. So, a mixed bag of weather conditions early morning.
It will be milder during the day today and tomorrow, and it seems we might have to put up with some rain (tomorrow). While rain is always annoying to see when we get to winter, remember, the people in the know often say it's a good thing for a new base of snow to get some rain.
It should be colder by Wednesday, and the snow should be falling again, perhaps heavy at times. Hopefully, if we get snow through the end of the week, that will mean ski area openings going ahead as planned this coming weekend. It sounds like a plan!
