Snowfall at base this season 62cm

The exciting snow news continues with another decent layer to add to what I reported yesterday.
Everywhere is looking white and while the snow clouds still mostly remain, there is also some blue skies and even some sunshine in places. Beautiful. But some light snow falling too. I think the blue sky is temporary and the snow will win - I should have more to report tomorrow.
A good opening next week seems very likely which is just how we like it (while sadly missing lots of friends who want to be here to enjoy it).
I am of course aware of that whole situation and I do feel for everyone who wants to visit but finds themselves unable to. I don't want you to think that I am just ignoring that, but I also don't want to be mentioning it too much. After all, these are snow (and toast) reports. So like last year I will try my best to strike a good balance on that score and mention when it seems fit and appropriate.
