Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 875cm

It's a cloudy, foggy in parts, damp (holding off for now) and windy kind of morning. Looks like we are on for some major lift disruption at the start of the day - including none of the lifts at Hanazono lined up to open on time.

One forecast tells me to expect some 'heavy snow' tonight. I'm really curious about that. That seems unlikely, but I will be sure to let you know how that turns out tomorrow morning.

OK, time for some coffee and some toast.

I hope you have a good weekend.
