New snowfall at base 41cm
Snowfall at base this season 749cm

Good morning from Naeba.

The storm continued heavily yesterday, bringing a fresh 41 cm of snow.

It's still snowing, and the wind is strong again, so currently, only two lifts are open: Lift 4 and High-Speed 5 at the bottom.

This has led to large crowds queuing around both.

The Kagura and Tashiro areas have been closed all day due to wind and heavy snowfall.

Let's hope the storm eases soon so more lifts can open!

This current cold snowy front is due to ease off over the next few days with Wednesday currently expected to be warmer and sunny. But there's more snow beyond then, so the fresh conditions should continue.
