Mixed up, is what people are calling the weather at the moment.
It may be raining down in Yuzawa but here in Naeba we have been lucky to get a bunch of cm of fresh snowfall on the ground at base.
And while wind is affecting some resorts (Kagura, GALA Yuzawa and Yuzawa Kogen are closed for the day), Naeba is open.... albeit with just three lifts, so we are limited to lower areas.
Milder conditions are actually forecast for today and tomorrow but there's good snow potential from later in the week.
