Finally, a little break in the snowfall. Well, it is still snowing out there, and we're alternating between patches of blue skies and gray clouds that keep the white stuff coming down, but we have a day to try and get organized and dig out where roofs have dropped great piles of snow.
Traffic was terrible all over the resort areas yesterday. I guess the plows also just got overwhelmed (and the guys do a pretty good job, to be fair). And, when it comes to an end, you kind of miss the excitement and energy of a huge snowstorm (my back muscles, though, will not miss the constant presence of a shovel handle; I'm not that creaky, but my back is sore).
Should be a few degrees warmer today, but still not warm, really. Get that snow settled a bit, and backcountry should be pretty fun in a day or so, too!
