New snowfall at base 34cm
Snowfall at base this season 43cm
Posted on Saturday 7th December 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
I think we can call today the first real day of winter. Thirty-four centimeters of nice, heavy snow on the ground; the first operation of a new snowthrower and the first visit by the snowplows.
It’s continuing to snow steadily, probably a fresh cm every hour or so.
It’s supposed to keep going until Monday morning, so we’re building a pretty good base for the potential openings starting one week from today. Just might happen!
