Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata
New snowfall at base 21cm
Snowfall at base this season 1476cm
Posted on Monday 3rd March 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
Rain yesterday turned to snow and some winds overnight, as the temperatures also came down from a mild Sunday.
Still some strong winds and gusts at times from the north.
All main lifts are marked as operating at the moment, but be ready for closures if that wind picks up a bit. My favorite weather site doesn’t show the wind getting extremely strong, so let’s hope things keep going.
