Just a quick, start of the spring session report for you. Your writer is out at the final cross-country event of the year, sitting way out on the course checking on the passing racers. It’s a sunny day with a ton of pollen blowing past us, plus a good serving of kosa dust.
One retraction of sorts: I had reported Akakura Onsen as closing yesterday, but they will be open today and tomorrow as well, although with just one lift running, it seems. Just waiting for Akakan to update—I might have to submit this without new lift info in.... Usually they run the gondola and the Hotel No. 3 lift in the post season, but maybe more will be running.
