A late report on a sunny day! No snow falling! Time to catch up on the plowing and cleaning and just enjoying a nice day....
I have a good excuse, in that I’m typing at a clinic to which I brought a (non-Japanese-speaking) neighbor needing some pre-holiday medical attention. A condition which, if you find yourselves in, readers, know it can be hard to find help in the coming days and medicine can be hard to get (emergency care is no problem, of course).
OK, back to snow and there’s lots of it and it looks great out there. The lifts still may be problematic, but maybe the best idea is to move on if a lift seems to be running sluggishly or intermittently.
On a day like today, though, it might be kind of nice just sitting on a chairlift in the middle of the sugi tree forest....
