Well, here we come into, not the last weekend, but kinda. Suginohara is closing tomorrow; not entirely sure about Kurohime but with 20cm of cover (and thanks for their honesty in reporting) I'd say the end is near. A few others aren't clear, either, but we'll report the news we get.


It's an OK day, clear but hazy. Better than rain (oh, yeah, which we did get yesterday, didn't we? Tried to forget). I'll sum up the season maybe tomorrow, maybe the 31st, when things will be really coming down to just a few remaining resorts, and not sure how much they'll be operating.


Akakura Kanko:

200cm, 1°

Myokokogen Sky Cable IS running; Champion No. 1 and No. 3 closed for the season. Will report on spring when a decision is made.


Akakura Onsen:

155cm, 1°C

Yodel Nos. 1, 4, 5, Kumado No. 1, No. 4 lifts running

Closing April 4


Ikenotaira Onsen:

80cm, -4°

Capsule pair, Ikenotaira Quad, Alpen Blick No. 1

Closing March 28, then spring skiing April 2 to 4


Myoko Suginohara:

130cm at summit, 30cm at base; 1°

Gondola and Mitahara No. 2 lift only

Seki Onsen:
