Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 11cm
Snowfall at base this season 1316cm

Posted on Saturday 27th February 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

Some lovely light flakes of snow have been falling thorough the morning, real little stars with lots of space between them, meaning fluffy, powder conditions.

Not a whole lot of total snowfall, and the snow is tapering off a bit right now, but at least things are nice and white again. Could be some pretty good skiing out there, too. And it's staying cold, which is good for that snow condition.

Warmer weather ahead in the new week....
