Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 1048cm

Posted on Saturday 27th April 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

An update as we are officially down to one resort open, with Seki Onsen finally posting that the season is over. Good thing, too, as there is no snow on the ground over there (well, not enough to run a resort on).

I'm not sure when Lotte Arai is closing, too, as they don't have the date posted anywhere. The town aggregator site still says May 6 as the last day, but the resort did earlier announce that they were going to close earlier than that. Sorry to be a bit unclear, but the end is coming soon.... Get out there now is what I am saying, and it will be a nice spring weekend, especially tomorrow when it will be sunny and quite warm.
