Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata
New snowfall at base 35cm
Snowfall at base this season 1295cm
Posted on Wednesday 24th February 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
Snow, and a lot of blowing and drifting. I think my spot for the depth of snow is pretty accurate, though; things were thigh-deep at my house, which gets the north wind (and buries my car!), but not so much at the secret base location... just to add a touch of mystery.
Looks like this is the last day for snow; at least it will stay a bit cold before another warm spell kicks in.
Sorry, I'm a little early today, so some resorts have not updated yet.
