The madness of 2024 continues.
A lot of snow, a lot of wind, and just in time for things to be about to close down. This is one season for the record book....
Strong winds overnight made for a lot of drifting in places (I'm pretty confident about our measuring spot and its lack of wind effect). It really came in hard yesterday around 2pm; we were basically in a whiteout here at the base of the resort with lots of snow and very strong Siberian winds. That kept going (and woke me up in the middle of the night, too).
It's staying pretty cold this morning and will hold on into tomorrow, and then spring will arrive with sun and warm weather. Bet it snows one more time.
