New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 1088cm
Posted on Friday 20th March 2026 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
The sun is out again today, with some thin clouds/haze. It got cold enough overnight for there to be a little dusting of snow/sleet on the ground this morning, but that’s since melted. After all, today is the Spring Equinox and a holiday here in Japan. Happy officially spring!
We have no excuse for complaining about winter ending too early (well, the snow has) because it is spring, and most resorts will be closed at the end of next weekend, two this Sunday.
