A little fresh snow this morning, just to whiten things up a bit.
Interesting fog conditions; we can see the clouds here at the Akakan base level, but it's foggy below and foggy above. It was pretty tough on the ski slopes yesterday, with visibility in the tens of meters at best. Hopefully this non-fog layer will expand so at least you can see the snow ahead.
Other than that, I almost lost all of you as a backhoe clearing the walls of snow decided to dig in front of my place and got hung up on the fiber optic line bringing communications to me. And to you. I thought it was going to pop right out - that's a thin cable - but the operator did see it, luckily, and gingerly moved the arm away. The things that happen in snow country....
