I had a bit of powder fever this morning, meaning the snow clearing got done, and then again, and then work came in and I stared out the window at the excellent snow coming down and thought that I should get out there... and neglected my reporting duties. But can you blame me, after a morning of rain and pretty wet snow all afternoon yesterday.
Excellent snow out there today. Enough volume to be a little careful going off-piste, especially with that warm weather and rain yesterday and sun earlier.
There was some wind overnight as well (lots of snow dunes around the house this morning) so it's a good idea to be thoughtful in backcountry endeavors.
