There is another 15cm of fresh snow here in Madarao and things are starting to look much improved.
With snow continuing to fall today and more forecast later tomorrow and into Monday, it's feeling exciting for this long weekend we are just starting. With more snow hopefully it will not be long before the Tree Run courses will be able to open (they currently remain closed).
Should be good this morning though.
It's the Fire Festival at Madarao Kogen tonight, starting at 8:30pm with sweet sake and tangerines (!) along with other things going on. Fireworks at 9pm followed by torch-lit skiers putting on a display down the slopes. The second photo today will give you an idea.
Come on more snow!
