Just a thin layer of new snow overnight in Madarao and just a cloudy start to the day. A special day of course, it being New Years Eve.
So what's on for the day? Well first up the resort has done a 'renewal' thing on the Free Ride Park so some new stuff to play in there (kicker, drum cam, rail, spine, roller, tyre. These things don't mean a whole amount to me personally, but I presume those interested know what they are!)
Then it's some special Countdown events at the resort... nighta is extended until midnight so you can slide down the slopes right through until the end of the year; there'll also be fireworks and no doubt some things to eat and drink. And a very friendly and fun atmosphere.
Hopefully followed by fresh snow tomorrow.
All the very best for the New Year from myself and no doubt the friendly people at Madarao resort.
