Welcome to 2014 and Happy New Year.
This morning no fresh snow to report from Madarao Kogen, just some sore heads and weary people starting out a bit later than usual. The early birds got a good deal this morning.
Cloudy conditions at the moment and relatively mild though it has started.... rainy sleet, that is. It has been raining lower down but the mountains are and will hopefully be getting snow. It should be getting colder as well this afternoon. Snow is still forecast to be falling here today so hopefully by tomorrow mornings report I will be able to update you on that with good news.
