Some snow last night after a day of (curiously) day of almost clearer weather yesterday. That wasn't quite what we were expecting!
Madarao reports 10cm of fresh snowfall and snow depth of 20cm. Tangram is reporting 15cm.
That's not enough to open, but we are (again) being told to expect more snow today and into tomorrow.
Might we see a big change?

Madarao has announced that it will be part open from tomorrow (Saturday). The Number 1 lift plans to open from 8:30am with the 500m Paradise run and 1000m Beginners B run available. Both runs will be ungroomed. Hopefully more snow overnight will help things along before tomorrow morning. Depending on how much snow we get tonight, that plan might change.
Tangram has also announced that it will be part open from tomorrow. Number 3 lift is scheduled to open, but, again, there might be more.
We now wait to see how much snow falls overnight! Exciting.
