Madarao Open!
And it's a lovely morning for it.
No new snow to report but the sun is out now and early morning clouds are quickly disappearing.
The Number 1 lift at Madarao Kogen is starting it's season this morning with (for now) just the Paradise Course open.
Snow cover is acceptable but it's far from 'deep' yet. There may be bushes out there out to trip you up. They are also saying that they are not grooming due to the relative lack of snow.
Still. First turns are always fun!
Maybe a bit of snow tomorrow but after that it's going to be perhaps Friday before the next proper snowfall.... and it's looking promising! Keep an eye on the forecast.
