I have good news!
Madarao Kogen will be opening from tomorrow (Sunday).
Some more snow overnight and it has been snowing this morning, though forecast is saying that clearing conditions likely.
The resort is reporting 25-35cm of snow out there and so going to go for a part open...
They plan to have the Number 1 lift operating with a few courses open for skiing and snowboarding.
With only one lift running the lift tickets will be 1000 yen for adults and seniors and 500 yen for children.
Remember snow is thin on the ground and the resort themselves are recommending that you don't come with new gear just in case... don't want scratches!
Still it will be great to get out on the slopes at last.
No official word yet from connecting Tangram Ski Circus.
