The winds did get more friendly yesterday with Madarao Kogen able to open up around lunchtime.
And this morning, what's this... blue skies? Just some thin cloud around but lots of blue above Madarao and a much calmer picture that just 24 hours ago.
But hold on, I thought this week was all about snow and storms? Hmmm. What do I know (and apparently the forecasts too)!
Those same forecasts do still insist that heavy snowfall is just around the corner, that corner being today and tonight.
I sure want to believe!
Still, before then the slopes are looking very inviting this morning.
