Posted on Tuesday 9th December 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
A cloudy day forecast today with snow at times, one of those times being now and it will be staying cold not straying too far above the zero mark.
We're expecting clearer and warmer and sunny conditions again tomorrow.
Later in the week though all eyes on that cold and snowy winter pattern that seems to be scheduled to arrive over Hakuba and also quite a few other areas on the Japan Sea side of Japan. Looks like it could bring with it quite a lot of snow. Would be good!
Hakuba 47 reporting no fresh snowfall on the mountain overnight though there was some that came down during the day yesterday. Goryu reporting 3cm, while Happo-one mention 5cm at Usagidaira.
