Well, well, it's all very exciting this morning.


More snow this morning - though not a huge amount - and for the moment as I write this it's cloudy but snow is forecast to continue on and off through the day today, maybe easing off by tomorrow.


With the continued snow there's lots to report this morning, so let's get right to it.


Happo-one

Happo has 4 lifts moving this morning and more runs opening, as noted below. The resort is reporting snow depth of 15cm at base and 85cm at Usagidaira, with 15cm of fresh snow at Usagidaira this morning.

-Alpen Quad

-Kurobishi Number 2 Quad

-Adam Gondola and Kokusai Number 1 lifts open to take people up to the open area

Hakuba 47

Hakuba 47 is almost all open this morning from 8am.


Open courses:

-Upper part of Route 1

-Route 2

-Route 3

-Route 5

-Route 6

-Route 8.

-The lower part of Route 1 and Route 7 are skiable 'at your own risk' which I think is the best way to translate 'jiko sekinin'.

-Route 4 is the only one closed as they deal with the snow, apparently.

Hakuba Goryu

The top area of Hakuba Goryu is open this morning.

Tsugaike Kogen

Part of the upper slopes of Tsugaike Kogen is open.
