Good morning from Hakuba.
I am pleased to see 15-20cm or so of snowfall being reported by a few resorts this morning. On the upper areas. Not so much down here at base, so head up higher to find the goodies.
I also note that Tsugaike Kogen are reporting up to 30cm of fresh snow and the Number 1 gate plans to open. Cortina also seems to have had a good refresh with all lifts operating and all courses open this morning. Just going on the numbers, it would seem that there has been more snow in the northern areas.
It feels quite cold morning. I'm going to wrap up, head up high and have me some fun.
We hope to have more snowfall during today and overnight.
Early next week is also looking good for a very cold spell with regular snowfall.
