Good morning to you all from Hakuba.
Not the most exciting start to New Years Eve with some light rain around lower areas, but perhaps some light snow at higher elevations (it's what Hakuba 47 seems to be saying). Webcams don't seem to show that.
We ARE expecting snow overnight tonight and so I am cautiously excited about the prospect of starting 2024 with fresh snowfall. Let us hope we are not let down!
So, have a fun New Years Eve and see you tomorrow.
