Snowfall at base this season 18cm

Original morning report

Good morning from Hakuba.

There was a thin layer of snow around my house and on the top of my car this morning. Hoping there will be more to report tomorrow morning.

No word yet on how much snow there might have been higher up.

I will be keeping my eye on the official ski area info sources and promise to bring you any news that is announced concerning potential openings.

4pm update

No official ski area opening announcements yet.

Hakuba 47 was reporting 25cm of fresh snow on Line E and Hakuba Goryu was reporting about 30cm of snow in the upper areas late morning. :)

There is a chance that one or more ski lifts might get the season off to a start tomorrow morning.

Anyway, I need to get myself to a drinking party for this evening, so I'll be back with you tomorrow morning.

5:30pm update

Tsugaike has announced that it will be opening tomorrow, Thursday 30th November, from 10am.

There may be more...
