Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 615cm

Posted on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Lots of cloud yesterday in the morning with an increasing amount of blue sky and sun later on in the afternoon.

We're back to a cloudy morning reset this morning with some light snow falling. Let's hope I can add a bit more in my report tomorrow too. It feels like there's not much left in the season, so every cm counts! And, actually, since I started writing this report the very light snow has cranked up one level and it is coming down quite nicely right now. There is almost 2cm of snow on the top of my car.

Hakuba 47 this morning reporting 1cm of snow on upper areas. Other ski areas reporting 0cm but that was all from earlier in the morning.

Warmer conditions due from Friday.
