Snowfall at base this season 613cm

Good morning from Hakuba.
It was cloudy yesterday, not much wind. But this morning there has been some snow. Not on their official site but Hakuba 47 and Tsugaike are both reporting 5cm of fresh snow in places this morning. 3cm is being reported from the Riesen area of Happo-one and Goryu also reporting 3cm. So it sounds like there's a thin layer of fresh across the mountains. It's just a dusting at base level and not enough for me to award 1cm to the report.
There's limited visibility up there this morning.
A high of around +4C later on and unfortunately a good chance of rain with us today, particularly later on and maybe heavy rain this evening. Grrrrr. The good news is that tomorrow should be slightly colder and there is still a chance of snow. Different forecasts are saying different things, so we'll just have to wait and see what nature brings us.
After that snow slide at Hakuba Goryu on Monday, the Toomi Ski Four lift is still closed.
