New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 318cm
Posted on Monday 17th January 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
We got us some fresh snow this morning and it is snowing now.
Goryu is reporting 15cm of new snowfall on the top Alps area, 47 is reporting 5-10cm across the mountain, Happo is reporting 10-23cm, Cortina is reporting 10cm and Tsugaike wins the day with 26cm on upper areas. So there you go.
If forecasts become reality we might enjoy some heavy snow overnight tonight with continued snow through the day today and into tomorrow. Then some more on Thursday. Looks like we're set for regular top-ups. :)
Early morning fog is preventing the top lifts at Happo-one from opening but other than that places are opening as planned.
