Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 678cm

Posted on Friday 14th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Windy day yesterday with the snow being blown around and lifts being affected. Happo-one in particular with only lower lifts opening so far and the top of Goryu too.

So the wind hasn't gone yet but hopefully things will generally be better today. Visibility is certainly better with some blue sky as well as cloud.

As the Tsugaike facebook page says this morning: 'It's windy, so hot equipment is recommended'. Indeed!

Tomorrow should be calmer altogether and likely nice and sunny.

Back to the snowfall from Monday.
