Good morning from Hakuba.
And it's another very good one too!
After a day of snow and wind yesterday, there's some nice fresh snowfall headlines this morning:
Our measurement: 22cm
...and from around the resorts...
Hakuba Cortina: 25cm
Hakuba 47: 20-25cm
Hakuba Happo-one: 20cm
Hakuba Goryu: 10-20cm
So with the snow yesterday and overnight we can probably expect a decent (pre-groomed!) 20cm and more of fresh snow on the slopes wherever you choose to be skiing or boarding this morning.
Can't complain at that!
The snow has stopped here were I am for now though it is still snowing on the mountain - with more expected for the day perhaps easing off by tomorrow. Having said that, there was some blue sky appearing and a bit of sunshine just before, so who knows. Wind doesn't look like it is an issue today.
Wrap up well, get those goggles on (visibility still generally limited on mountain), remember to take care and enjoy the conditions today.
